I don t have to re-draw the marques' borders. Then, when I go to scan the next three shots, I only have to slightly move each of the three existing marquess over the location of the three new shots. Once I complete one scan of the three images, I don t erase the marques. (Unlike the V500, the V600 allows three 6x7's at one time.) However, you shouldn't have to do one at a time on the V500. On my V600, I can set up multiple marques so I can scan multiple images at one time. It is actually faster to manually crop the first time versus scanning with auto cropping and then having to inspect each frame before rescanning the inevitable bad crops. Manual cropping is just faster in the end and doesn't take that long once you get the workflow down. Sometime in big ways like you see and often in smaller miscroppings people don't notice. Welcome to reality! Yes, the auto cropping algorithm often gets fooled. I know that if I deselect Thumbnails I can scan one frame at a time using the Marquee, but surely that is not how it is supposed to work. I have gone to Configuration>Film Size and selected "6圆," but the problem remains. One of the thumbnails will be half of one frame and half of another.
When I try to scan 6圆 with Thumbnails checked, the Preview gives me three thumbnails of 6x4.5, even though the 120 film holder only allows two 6圆 frames to be scanned.
